Do I get the project file?
You won’t receive project files when purchasing a track. This is due to two main reasons. Learn more about our return and exchange policy to ensure a smooth experience when purchasing exclusive tracks and vocals on House of Tracks.
Firstly, producers use different DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) and VSTs (Virtual Studio Technology), which can lead to compatibility issues, making it difficult to work on the project. Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) are essential tools in modern music production, enabling producers to craft, mix, and master tracks across various genres, from Afro House to Trance. Discover how House of Tracks supports producers with high-quality, ready-to-use tracks by visiting our About Us page.
Secondly, not all producers are willing to share their production techniques, similar to how a magician keeps their tricks a secret. Ensuring your track meets industry standards is crucial for approval. At House of Tracks, we emphasize originality, high-quality production, and adherence to platform guidelines to help producers succeed in the competitive world of electronic music. For more insights into optimizing your submissions, visit our About Us page.
However, when purchasing a track, you receive all the necessary tools to make modifications. This includes full stems and MIDI files, allowing you to easily edit the track as needed. Ensuring track originality is essential in today’s competitive music industry. At House of Tracks, we provide producers with the resources they need to personalize and refine their purchased tracks while maintaining authenticity.
What can I do with a purchased track?
An advertising agency may use it for synchronization purposes. A DJ or performer can incorporate it into their set and even release it under their name as an artist. An event organizer could adopt the track as a theme song, while a local sports team could purchase a track to use as their team anthem.
Can I resell a track?
To clarify, it's important to distinguish between selling a track and releasing a track. Selling a track refers to transferring ownership to other producers or ghost production platforms, essentially offering it as a ghost production or remix pack.
This type of sale is strictly prohibited and may lead to legal consequences. Ensuring originality in music production is essential. At House of Tracks, we maintain the highest standards by strictly forbidding the sale of unauthorized sample packs, safeguarding both producers and buyers from potential legal risks. Learn more about our commitment to quality and integrity on our About Us page.
However, releasing a track is permitted. This means you can sell a track on music stores like Beatport or upload it to a streaming platform. Understanding the resale rights of purchased tracks is crucial for producers and DJs navigating the music industry legally. Learn more about ownership, licensing, and how to maximize your investment in exclusive tracks.
Can I return or exchange a track?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to return or exchange purchased tracks.
Before making a purchase, you can listen to the full track, allowing you to determine whether it meets your needs. Ensuring track originality is essential for producers and DJs aiming to stand out in the competitive music industry. At House of Tracks, we meticulously verify the authenticity of every track, so you can confidently explore our extensive catalog—from Afro House to Trance—knowing you're getting exclusive, high-quality productions.
Since you receive the full track upon purchase, including stems and MIDI files, returning or exchanging a track would compromise our exclusivity agreement with the seller. Therefore, all sales are final. Learn more about our exclusivity policy and how it ensures that every track you purchase remains 100% unique to you. For further details on our commitment to quality and originality, visit our About Us page.
How to monetise a track?

What does it mean when a track contains AI generated vocals?
This means that only the vocal part of the track is generated using AI. While the vocals are technically original, it's important to determine whether they were AI-generated. Some record labels may accept AI-generated vocals, while others might reject such tracks. Notably, the instrumental portion of the track contains no AI-generated elements, as verified by our A&R team.
Does House of Tracks sell AI generated music?
House of Tracks does not sell AI-generated music. The only AI-generated content we allow is AI-generated vocals. Our A&R team manually reviews all tracks for exclusivity and originality, ensuring that no AI-generated music is approved.
Seller
How do I get in the top 10?
Getting your label in the Top 10 labels will depend on a similar mechanic used by many other playlists in the music industry. Time + Sales = a place in our Top 10.
Do I have to own a record label to sell on House of Tracks?
To start selling your tracks on our platform, you first need to create a virtual label. This label is not an official record label but serves as the name of your account, allowing customers to find your tracks. Please note that you cannot use the name of a famous artist, label, or company, nor a name that resembles them, including VST/FX brands.
Creating your own virtual label on House of Tracks is the first step toward selling your music professionally. It helps you establish a recognizable brand and connect with buyers looking for high-quality tracks.
Is it allowed to have multiple producers on 1 label?
Working with multiple producers under a single label is not allowed. This is because the label owner is ultimately responsible for all content released under the label. Becoming a record label requires a deep understanding of music distribution, branding, and legal responsibilities—ensuring that every track meets industry standards. At House of Tracks, we provide the tools and expertise to help you navigate the complexities of label ownership, from curating exclusive releases to managing artist relationships. Learn more about our platform and how we support aspiring label owners on our About Us page.
If any issues arise with the content offered by a label, we may need to take action by temporarily removing all content until the issues are resolved. Protect the integrity of the music industry by reporting any fraudulent activity or abuse on our platform—your vigilance helps us maintain a secure marketplace for artists and buyers alike. For more insights into our commitment to transparency and quality, visit our About Us page.
In rare cases where the issues cannot be resolved, we will permanently ban the label from our platform. Allowing multiple producers to work under one label could create complications, especially for those who are not involved in the issues leading to the ban.
How do I submit my tracks?
When uploading a track, a simple MP3 file won’t suffice. You will need to provide three folders: a master folder, a stem folder, and a MIDI folder. Additionally, a preview of the track in MP3 format is required. Ensuring your track meets House of Tracks' Upload Requirements is crucial for a seamless submission process. By including a master, stem, and MIDI folder, along with a high-quality MP3 preview, you enhance your track’s visibility and marketability. For more insights on optimizing your uploads and maximizing your sales, visit our About Us page.
The master folder should contain the mixdown and mastered version of the track. If the track includes vocals, you should also provide a mastered instrumental version and an instrumental mixdown. Following House of Tracks' Upload Requirements ensures a smooth submission process. Properly formatted mixdowns and mastered versions increase your chances of selling your music successfully. For more tips on optimizing your tracks for the marketplace, visit our About Us page.
The stem folder should contain all individual elements of the track as separate stems, delivered in WAV format. Meeting the correct Upload Requirements is essential for a seamless submission process. From properly formatted WAV stems to high-quality mastering, every detail matters in maintaining industry standards. For more insights on optimizing your music for top-tier platforms, explore our About Us page.

What are the requirements for artwork?
Uploading high-quality artwork is a great way to make your label stand out. Ensure that all artwork is in JPEG format with a resolution of 320x320 pixels.
Well-designed artwork enhances brand recognition among potential buyers and leaves a lasting impression, which can positively impact your sales.
Can I use samples?
You can’t use all samples, even if they are royalty-free. The only samples you can use are one-shots and top-loops, as long as they are royalty-free. Ensuring originality in music production is crucial. At House of Tracks, we uphold the highest standards by allowing only royalty-free one-shots and top-loops, protecting both producers and buyers from potential copyright issues. For more insights into our commitment to quality and authenticity, visit our About Us page.
When using top loops, ensure they are only used to enhance your main drums. All melodic elements of a track should be composed by the producer. Therefore, using MIDI packs is strictly prohibited.
Should all tracks be unique?
All tracks you upload to our platform must be 100% original. This means remixes and samples from existing tracks are not allowed.
Additionally, tracks uploaded to House of Tracks must remain exclusive to our platform. If a track has been previously published online or performed live, it is no longer eligible for sale on House of Tracks.
