How to correctly indicate vocals on House of Tracks

When uploading a track, vocals must be categorized accurately. Choose the option that best describes how the vocals were created.

Royalty Free Vocals

Use this option if the vocals come from:

• Commercial sample packs
• Royalty free vocal websites such as Vocalfy

These vocals are pre recorded and licensed for reuse by multiple producers.

Original Vocals

Use this option if the vocals were:

• Recorded by yourself or
• Recorded by another singer specifically for your track
  

Important notes:​

• You must have explicit permission from the singer to use and sell the vocals
• Vocals may be processed or altered using AI based tools (for example voice conversion or tone shaping)
• Tools like Audimee that modify an existing human voice still count as Original Vocals, as long as the source voice was recorded by a real person with permission

AI Generated Vocals

Use this option if the vocals were:

• Fully generated by an AI tool such as Suno, Udio, or ElevenLabs

• It does not matter who wrote the lyrics
• Even if you wrote the lyrics yourself, the vocals are still considered AI generated
