How do you prevent that your track gets disapproved?
It doesn’t happen often, but it is possible that your track gets disapproved by our HoT-team.
There are several possible reasons for this.
So, how do you prevent that your tracks don’t get accepted?
* Every sub-track has to be rendered for the whole length of the track and should be named: kick, top kick, bass, hihat1, hihat2, clap, snare and percussion.
Only filling in numbers doesn’t suffice.
All sub-tracks have to be sent in WAV.

* We need you to send us a completely mastered and unmastered version.
Make sure you send us a proper mix and master.
* If you use a vocal from a sample pack, you’re required to put this in your track description.
You should also upload an instrumental version mastered and unmastered.

* The required minimum length of a track on House of Tracks is 3 minutes.
Unless you upload a Pop track the minimal length for Pop is 2:30 minutes.

* Most of you already include the midi files in your uploads, which is great!
We want to receive from all of you the midi files of all important melodic elements you used, e.g. lead, drop/bass/melodies, etc.
Rendering is done at WAV 44.1 kHz, 24 bit, when you upload tracks or stems.
It’s a small effort and a huge pleasure for the buyers.
So we need all midi files and stems immediately incorporated in your upload.

* As a rule, we don’t send the project files.
This has two reasons.
For starters, most people use different VST.
The second reason is that producers don’t like to share their secrets; a chef doesn’t hand out his or her recipes either.
We will send you all the stems (WAV) though, of the whole length of the track.
This way you can import them into your DAW.
