What do I receive upon purchasing a track?

You won’t receive project files of a purchased track. The project files aren’t included because of two reasons.

Firstly, producers don’t all work in the same DAW (digital audio workstation) as well as the fact that different producers also use different VST’s (virtual studio technology). This will lead to compatibility issues that result in not being able to work on the project.

Additionally not every producer is keen on showing their methods of creating a track. You can compare this to a magician unwilling to reveal his magic tricks.

You do however get enough tools when purchasing a track to make alterations. For example having the full stems of the track and all midi files. This will allow you to easily edit a track if needed.

An advertising agency may use it for synchronisation purposes. A DJ/performer can use it in his/her set(s), even release it under his/her name as an artist. An event organiser could use the track as a specific theme song, your local sports team could buy a track and use it as their team anthem etc.

In order to explain this we need to point out the difference between selling a track and releasing the track. With selling a track we refer to the action of selling the track to other producers or ghost producing platforms. So basically selling the track as a ghost production or remix pack.

This type of selling is strictly forbidden and may result in legal actions.

However, it is allowed to release a track. This means you can sell a track on music stores like Beatport etc., or upload a track to a streaming platform.

Unfortunately it is not possible to return or exchange purchased tracks.

Before your purchase, you are able to listen to the full track. This should give you enough information to determine if the track is what you are looking for or not.

Because you receive the full track upon purchase (including the stems and MIDI), exchanging or returning a track would forfeit our exclusivity agreement with the seller. Therefore you are unable to return or exchange a track.

You can monetise a track in multiple ways.

For instance, you can release a track on a label as an artist and earn money from streaming and sales through music stores. You can also use purchased tracks in advertising, games or movies for instance.

​Vocals used in tracks aren’t always unique. Most of the vocals used originate from vocal sample packs (these are 100% royalty free and legal to use). 

These vocals can be found in other tracks as well. This is standard in the music industry, though. If you were to look at major music stores, you might be able to find multiple tracks that use the same vocals as each other.

Our website offers a filter that allows you to easily browse and select between two types of vocal tracks: royalty-free vocals and original vocals. With our filter, you can easily find the perfect vocal tracks for your project.

Upon purchasing a track you will receive 100% of the rights. That means that all rights and revenue generated by the track are yours. You can use the track in any kind of media or release it as an artist yourself.

You are able to download your files for one year after purchasing a track. This is included in the service fee.
