How to convert Beatport tracks?
Converting your Beatport tracks to either MP3 or WAV format is relatively simple, and can be done using a number of different tools and software. In this article, we'll show you how to download music from Beatport and convert it using the popular freeware tool Audacity – a favorite among DJs for its versatility and compatibility with DJ software and streaming platforms.
The first thing you'll need to do is download and install Audacity on your computer. Once you have Audacity installed, launch the program and click on "File > Open."
In file browser window that appears, navigate to the location of the Beatport music you wish to convert. Once you've located the track, double-click on it to select it, then click on the "Open" button.
The Beatport track will now be loaded into Audacity. The next thing you'll need to do is select the portion of the track that you want to convert by clicking and dragging your mouse over it. Once you've made your selection, click on "Edit > Copy."

In the Export File window that appears, make sure that the "Format" drop-down menu is set to "WAV (Microsoft)" and that the "Export Options" drop-down menu is set to "16-bit," then click on the "Export" button.
In the Save As window that appears, navigate to the location where you want to save your converted Beatport track. Then enter a name for it in the File name field and click on the Save button.
